Hi.
I have the following setup:
PowerBase 180 (PPC 603e)
136MB RAM
20GB HD
Sonnet G3 400MHz upgrade
Macally PCI ethernet adapter
Iomega Zip drive
YellowDog Linux CS 1.1 (kernel 2.2.6-16bpmac)
BootX 1.1
I applied mol-kernel-2.2.6.patch and compiled accordingly. I then placed
the resultant kernel in the Linux Kernels folder in the MacOS System
Folder.
During the linux boot using the new vmlinux, the process hangs. The last
message printed to the screen is "pcnet32.c: PCI Bios is present, checking
for devices...."
What could be the problem? I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks.
