Mol causes X to crash

Hello everybody,
everytime I start mol from the console my already opened X session
crashes and I get this message from gdb /etx/X11/core:
Core was generated by /etc/X11/X :0
Program terminated with signal 5, trace/breakpoint trap

Any suggestions? (It worked until I tried to switch to Xpmac an then
came back to XF68_FBDev).
