Hi. I recently re-installed my MacOS system folder (8.6 French version)
and in the process lost my Linux Kernels and my Preferences folders.
Now I can't remember the correct settings. Can someone refresh my
memory:

 * What kernel will support all of the following:
        - a G3 Powerbook 1999 (Bronze)
        - power management (i.e. sleep and battery control)
        - recent versions of MOL, running MacOS 8.6
        - sound
        - PPP

 * Where to go to download a precompiled version of that kernel?

 * What kernel arguments to BootX for best performance (I remember there
   was something special to optimise the IDE disk performance)?

An unrelated question:
 * Is there an X server that supports:
         - accelerated video on this machine
         - simultaneously the trackpad and an external USB
           mouse?
   and where to download that server from?
