I am running MacOS 9 under mol with a firmware image from MacOS 8.6.
It seems to work really well except I am concerned about the amount
of cpu that the mol process is using - usually more than 90%. when
there is nothing other than Eudora and standard extensions running in
MacOS

Is this a configuration issue? Will upgrading the firmware to a
MacOS9 image improve the performance?

My Linux config is linuxppc-1999 with kernel 2.2.14
