Hi, I'm a new user to MOL.

I recently purchased the Linux2000 CD set and installed the standard
installation on an external drive. I run into a problem trying to start MOL
in Linux.

I read the /etc/molrc comments in the file and set up molrc to start without
the NewWorld ROM image as I do not have one or the means to transport one
over to my Linux FS yet. I'm running on a PMAC 8600 and set molrc to auto
detect my machine type, set the cpu to "4" (604e) and tried "startmol" in
the term console. During startup I got a "FAILED" message regarding kernel
patching and mol doesn't start.

Any clue what gives?

I'm running on an 8600/200 with 136 MB RAM and OS 9 (primary OS) and OS 8.6
on a separate partition (secondary OS) with LinuxPPC 2000 on a Jaz drive
(tertiary OS) running kernel version 2.2.15pre15 straight out of the install
CD.
