It's not X colour mapping weirdness is it? Are you running your X server in 8
bit (xdpyinfo | grep depth)? Do the colours return to normal when you move your
mouse out of Mol's window?
If so then try running X with more than 8 bits (add the line
DefaultColorDepth 16
to your Screen section in XF86Config)
This is one of a million things that could be wrong, so don't be surprised if
I'm talking rubbish.
