Subject: console video after rom update 3.2.1->3.7

After updating my rom image from 3.2.1 to 3.7 I'm having trouble with my
console mode. I have tried both mol-9.44 and mol-9.45 -same problem.
With rom version 3.7 I can only get console video to work if I set the
depth to 8 in /etc/molrc. If I use the 3.2.1 rom image I can set depths
8, 15, and 32 and everything works fine. It is as if 3.7 thinks that I
have less video ram that I actually do. I'm running mol on a G4/500
with MacOS 9.0.4.
Only difference in the startup messages are:
