Are you running DHCP in linux and MOL simultaneously?

If so, each OS is presenting the same hardware address for DHCP discovery. Hence, each will be told the same IP address. I believe this would be a problem, as the linux kernel will grab all packets before MOL gets to see them.

You might have to do something creative with MOL to give the MacOS a unique IP address that the linux box can masquerade. ie, create a tap device, or setup a new ip address space on eth0 and let the linux box route/nat.
