lets start at the beginning

first of all have you read the user's guide?

at http://maconlinux.com/userguide.html

on my 7600 I was able to boot into MOL with kernel 2.2.15pre3 and MOL
9.53 following the user's guide with no problem. Note: 9.53-2 has a
built-in patch for this kernel, so no error "unable to patch the kernel"

I assume on the Mac Side your disc has OS8.6 installed and M_O-L in the
kernels folder of the system folder

I assume you downloaded the latest version of Mac OS ROM (V1.6?) from
apple then used TOME to extract the Mac OS ROM file; and then placed it
in the Mac side System folder (there is no mac 8.6 cdrom so you have to
go to the apple site for the OS8.6 ROM download)

I assume you mounted the Mac side OS8.6 to /mnt/XX in linux and then
did the strip_nwrom routine on the mounted Mac OS ROM in the System
Folder and have the created file rom.nw located in /usr/lib/mol/rom
directory

In MOLRC I assume that in Volumes, your mac side bootup drive partition
is properly identified, and listed first; like
 example ----: /dev/sda6 -rw

Also in MOLRC you ave properly configured "Emulator Parameter" for your
604 processor ; "4"

if you have all this , you should boot cleanly into the mac side.
