Subject: precompiled kernel:again

i asked this yesterday, and no responce. I realize that its a simple
question, with a moderately long answer.
So the question: I have downloaded Ben's precompiled kernel, i realize
that i have to tar it, but what do i do with the pieces after they have
been "tar"ed?
