1. make sure you do not have the mac partition already mounted under linux.

2. is your macos on hda? perhaps it boots off /dev/sda for example, which is still marked read only?

by not specifying the partition number the "default" blessed folder will be used for booting macos.

if you wish to boot a different macos partition on the same device, use pdisk to preview the partition table and enter /dev/hda# (eg /dev/hda4) as per the information given by pdisk. (look for Apple_HFS type partitions).

this is useful when trying to boot from a zip disk by the way. (mount the zip under linux, reference it in molrc /dev/sdx#, install/copy macos from your live system, boot mol with it!)
