Starting MacOS 9 instead of X ?

Hi !

It is possible to select in MOL which MacOS- release should startup ?

Currently I have the following problem:

If I startup my IBook, I could select between MacOS and Linux ( I have just
one partition for 9 & X and one for Linux). If I choose MacOS, version X
starts up.
Therefore on Linux, MOL wants to startup MacOS X, too. But this fails due to
known reasons.

Is there any solution !
