Subject: How to enable Kernel Support ?

Hello!
I've just started playing with MOL and the current release is great.
However I'd like to build support into my kernel, so I don't have to run it
as root the first time.
Are there instructions as to how to do that ? I've tried the 2.2.18pre21
kernel that I made myself, to no avail. The 2.4.0 and 2.4.1 configurators
say something about MOL support, but they fail to compile.
