Subject: PATCH for 603 only for kernel 2.2.15pre4?

I downloaded the kernel source of 2.4.0 and want to compile it on
Powerbase 180 which has a 603 ev processor.But i downloaded the latest mol
which is 9.53-2 for kernel 2.4.0 but the patch in it does not apply to
kernel 2.4.0.I used the command line:
patch --dry-run -d /usr/src/linux < p0 mol-kernel-2.2.15pre4.patch
And 15 of 16 did not succeed.So any suggestion...?
