AFAIK there is no published solution for running an FTP server behind
a
firewall, but I have found one, which works very well. If it helps I
can
send a mini how-to. The main idea is to reverse the NATing done in
the
firewall by a second NAT in the FTP server, so the FTP daemon receive
exactly the same TCP/IP packets as received by the firewall. I uses
this
trick on OpenBSD (both for the firewall and the FTP server) which I
found
an order of magnitude more admin friendly than Linux.
