All people who runs a current rsync version of MOL should resync.
There is a serious problem with the old rsync version - the
save_session feature was not properly disabled.
Some time ago I reimplemented the block driver. The reimplementation
of the save-session function was however not finished. More precisely,
the check which should ensure that MOL refuses to start if a volume
has been modified is missing.
Thus, the following sequence might cause loss of data:
- Save session
- Start the "real" MacOS
- Restore session
Note: This problem is only present in the 0.9.59 version of MOL,
rsynced from the MOL bitkeeper tree.
