I'm running Yellow Dog 2.3 on my Powerbook G3 2000. I tried a Mandrake 
counterpart, but
ran into a few issues that were not evident with YDL so I stuck with the 
latter. If memory
serves me (not always a fair assumption) the problem related to MOL, or 
maybe sound.
I'm waiting for Mandrake to issue a PowerPC version of 9.0; I may try it 
again. Haven't
tried SUSE.
