This list is not for installing linux. It is about a program that runs
on linux.

If you want help with installing linux, I suggest you find a mailing
list that is related to your distribution. What have you got?

YellowDog: http://www.yellowdoglinux.com/
Debian: http://www.debian.org/
Mandrake: http://www.mandrakelinux.com/
suse: http://www.suse.com/

But, even better, open the CD that you have and try reading the
documentation that's there. It is usually in a directory called doc, or
there is a file called README that tells you where to find things. I'm
sure you'll find it easier than you think to install linux.

You can also find lots of linux people on irc at irc.openprojects.net
and irc.gnome.org , but you'll have to find a channel. I suggest you
look at the documentation and web sites first.

Good luck.

Ben.
