SEGV/SIG 11 stuffs

follow-up:

i can boot mol, but only under certain conditions:

* that i have my macos 9.1 cd in the cd tray;
* that i boot --newworld, even though i have: a. an oldworld mac 7500 w/
  604e/185 MHz upgrade (nice and speedy now :), it had the original 601 in
  it - you folks may remember me, or not :) b. afaict, configured it to boot as a 604
* i cannot boot --oldworld, and --debug doesn't work, i just get
  "waiting for MOL to start up"...., even though i started startmol
  --debug;
* i think it's behaving slowly (folder opens are slow for instance) cuz 
  of a. wrong cpu "detected", and maybe not enough vram (2 MB);
* i have a completely functional system on the main macos partition,
* which i've defined as the -rw -boot -default /dev/sd*;

other issues:

* if i boot --oldworld i get segfaults (error output below);
* sound isn't functional (off cd...) and the mouse cursor is the wm's
  (in this current case icewm-gnome), and no command keys work.
  (never mind sound issue: "/dev/dsp: Device or resource busy", heh)

wanted / needed behaviour:

* boot off hard drive;
* functional sound (i assume this will get fixed as soon as i'm able to
  boot mol off the drive);
* wishlist "bug": when pulling down the menu to "restart", actually
  restart the mol session - maybe just an impossibility, but a thought
  nonetheless;
* somehow emulate a larger screen (running at 640x480 currently) on a
  small screen;
