Console Video trouble on pegasos

Hello everyone !

I've just installed MOL on a Debian under a Pegasos G3 600 computer,
and MacOS 9. (Radeon 7000 GFX card)

My problem is : video under X is EXTREMELY slow. So I tried console
video. I tried to configure it with molvconfig, but each time I try a video
mode,
my monitor (iiyama vision master pro 410 17") displays nothing (seems not
to support the mode, or as if the gfx card sent no signal)...

Does anyone have an idea what may be wrong ?
