yeh; still doesn't have a configure.in file, and running make i still
get the same kind of errors.

hm bad news if that's the case. i'm running a pretty late kernel -
2.4.18 with XFS fs support (SGI, not X-window). looks like i'll have to
wait to upgrade my CPU before i run MOL. too bad, the screenshots look
awesome, and it'd be kewl to get access to my macos partition with
macos, and not linux, without having to reboot to get there (like a fair
amount of other *nix users i've seen, i hate to reboot the machine
unless i have to).

i *was* thinking of upgrading the CPU, but that's not an option for us
right now. i'll just be patient, that's all :). thanks for all the help,
