Hija,
I thought I should try the new OSX support and did exactly that
but for some reason it won't start.
This is a PowerBook G4 with Linux 2.4.19. And I have the following
relevant partitions with OSX 10.1.4:
/dev/hda11 Apple_Boot MOSX_OF3_Booter 16384 @ 2121224 ( 8.0M) Un=
known
/dev/hda12 Apple_Loader SecondaryLoader 1024 @ 2137608 (512.0k) Un=
known
/dev/hda13 Apple_UFS Mac_OS_X 3054592 @ 2138632 ( 1.5G) Un=
known
BTW: When you say bootpartition, is that the primary bootloader, the
secondary bootloader or the system partition?
I configured /etc/mol/molrc.osx appropriately by inserting all kind of
combinations of=20
blkdev: /dev/hda11 -rw -boot
blkdev: /dev/hda12 -rw
blkdev: /dev/hda13 -rw
but to no avail, all I get is:
Boot device: /mol-blk/disk@0:0
<*> -------------------------------------------
<*> MacOS X boot loader started
<*> Trying to load /mol-blk/disk@0:0,\mach_kernel.mol
<*> Opening partition [/mol-blk/disk@0:0]...
<*> Ext2InitPartition: 1
<*> Trying to load /mol-blk/disk@0:0,\mach_kernel
<*> Opening partition [/mol-blk/disk@0:0]...
<*> Ext2InitPartition: 2
<*> --> BootX failure: failed to load the mach kernel
and similar.
