Bugs and Suggestions for MOL

OK I promise this will be my last e-mail to the board for the time being,
I've just been lucky in that there have been two posts I could help with and
the idea of the MOL documentation project came to be cause of the second
post I answered. In working and playing with MOL over the last week and
came up with a few suggestions, some of which I touched on earlier today.

OK here goes, things I think would be cool to see in the MOL project:

The Ability to run MOL on Mac OS X/Darwin, really what I'm after is the
ability to teach my girlfriend real Linux in an environment which isn't
going to scare her away ;)

MOL with a proper GUI. I don't know quite how best to explain this. I'd
like to see MOL be able to run as a KDE/Gnome program. With GUI
configuration, the ability to change the default OS, the ability to pick
which OS I want to run today. Things to help make MOL more user friendly to
the end user and people with Limited experience of Linux and the Command
Line. As well as giving people the choice of editing the configuration
files via the GUI or in a Text Editor.

Session Save and Restore is something I'd like to see back as it was cool
and really handy.

The ability to use Disk Images as proper disks which can have System Folders
on, or versions of Linux in and the ability to use them as boot devices in a
similar manner to Virtual PC on the Mac.

The ability to suspend a MOL session so if your running OS X you can suspend
it so you can get on with something else while MOL (and OS X) sit there is
suspended animation not taking up any processor time.

Sound under OS X, I know OS X support is by no means finished by sound would
be really nice esp. as all my MP3s are still under OS X.

KDE ARTs support. As it stands now MOL only supports sound as direct via
direct access to /dev/dsp or via ESD. Which if your using KDE your not
going to be using either of these as is the case for me. If its possible to
use ESD with KDE could someone drop me and e-mail and give me detailed
instructions on how to get this going? *G*

That's all I can think of for right now. If I think of anything more any
one have any objections if I post again?

I've found a few bugs with OS X support under MOL. First off there is a
long delay in shutting down MOL after I have been using OS X. The window
just seems to hang there for like 2 or 3 minutes before MOL finally decides
its finished what its doing. Secondly X windows doesn't work under MOl when
in OS X mode it doesn't work if you use XDarwin under Mac OS X or if you
use startx under console Darwin, any suggestions or is this a bug or
something else screwy?

Thats all I've got for today. Finally something nice to end the day with.
I have put some screen shots together of MOL running Mac OS X and Darwin.
Hope people like them, may be someone will find them useful.
