Why? (module versions)

I just recompiled mol, but I still get module errors with "startmol -a":
	No kernel module suitable for this kernel was found.

Which is odd, because I'm running the same kernel I just compiled
against.:

amelia:~# startmol --list   
--------------------------------------------------------------
  Running kernel:         2.4.20-pre7-ben0-noav
--------------------------------------------------------------
  Available modules:
    2.4.20-pre7-ben0      in /usr/local/lib/mol/0.9.65
--------------------------------------------------------------


Any help would be appreciated.
