Networking problems, MOL + MacOS X 10.1.2

Hello,

I'm running Mac OS X 10.1.2 in MOL (0.9.68) on a PowerMac G4 (blue, AGP,
linux-2.4.20). OS X boots fine (good work!), but I have a problem with
the networking. I see this on the start:
...
<*> Ethernet driver 1.1
<*> Bad ifragsize
...
(I'm using "netdev: eth0 -sheep" and the supplied OS 10.1 MOL
extensions/drivers)
When running Mac OS X the network doesn't quite work. Ping is ok, but
TCP is not, as you can see in the tcpdump from an attempt to establish a
ssh connection:

...
15:36:34.638688 obelix.heaven.ssh > 192.168.3.11.49154: P 24:568(544)
ack 23 win 5792 <nop,nop,timestamp 939460599 4913> (DF)
15:36:34.639418 192.168.3.11.49154 > obelix.heaven.ssh: . ack 568 win
32760 <nop,nop,timestamp 4913 939460599> (DF)
15:36:34.646051 truncated-ip - 632 bytes missing! 192.168.3.11.49154 >
obelix.heaven.ssh: P 23:655(632) ack 568 win 32760 <nop,nop,timestamp
4913 939460599> (DF)
...

No TCP/IP protocol works properly (http,ftp,...). Any idea what is the
problem (something to do with fragmenting IP packets I guess) and how to
fix it?
192.168.3.11 is the osx IP, obelix is an IP on the same subnet - but it
doesn't matter if it's the same box or another one on the net.

I cannot update Mac OS X, because online update doesn't work w/o
network, and the Apple installer of the combo update won't show any
volumes (i.e. the System volume doesn't show up in the installer - any
idea why?). I can boot the Mac OS X only from MOL, because the firmware
will boot linux only (long story..), so briefly updating OS X is not an
option.

Any help is appreciated.

Best wishes,
Simon
