This does not solve the problem but it may be useful.

If you have set up the networking between Linux and Mac OS X,
you can use X11 on the Linux side to display your application.

You need to enable X11Forwarding on the sshd config in Mac OS X, then
you can 'ssh -X mac_os_x_ip' and run your apps.
