i386 makefiles

No, no,

I didn't get mol to work on i386. Heck, I even didn't try. I just 
noticed during compilation on a ppc that there was some mention of a 
i386 makefile.

But as far as I know mol only runs on PPC hardware. So I was curious why 
there is a i386 makefile there.
