Another annoyance

Now I'm installing OS X... I tried using a partition on a drive (i.e.:
/dev/hdf4), but Mac OS X said that I could not install onto it because I
cannot boot off of it. So I made a large (6GB-- I am using jfs and can do
that) disk image. When I started MOL with it, I get:

----> (disk_open) Opening /home/jb/mol/macosx.img: File too large

...what gives? Why should MOL care if the file is larger than 2GB? It's
not like MOL is based on the ext2 sources ;)

Any ideas? Will this be patched/fixed in the future? Files larger than 2GB
-are- feasible in non-ext[23] filesystems...
