difficulty with SMP/enterprise kernel & MOL

I tried that (the build/install was fine), now I get:

$ startmol -X

I read something in the list archives about applying a patch, but it wasn't 
clear to me about where to get this patch, or what it's for (the kernel or 
MOL).
