MOL and geforce4 mx

Hi all,
I have installed debian on my 1ghz G4, all successfully ;)

now mol is running wel in X. 
But I can't have more than 640x480 in console.

molvconfig doesn't find more than this even with fb.modes

My kernel is 2.4.20-ben10.

I'm affraid that running mol in console means "change your video card".
Apple doesn't want to exchange it...

Has someone an idea on how to enhance videos modes with this kind of video cards ?
