Ops, I just remembered that I installed the kernel modules with 
checkinstall (http://asic-linux.com.mx/~izto/checkinstall/) and that I 
set STRIP_SO_ELF=1 in the config.

Well, now everything works. Though I needed another hint from google 
that in debian the OS X part is in another package.

Really nice job. Also good naming of config files :)
The only thing that bothers me now is that console fullscreen on my 
iBook only runs at 800x600 (or is this a hardwired fb limit?).
If so I'll have to set up Window Maker to keep the MOL window maximised 
and omnipresent pinned to one workspace.
