OS X Partition Locked under 0.9.68

Hi, Samuel and list--

Thanks for responding. Unfortunately, I don't know what to look for to 
unlock the stale process. A "ps -aux" shows nothing unusual. What 
files/devices/directories do I need to look at to check for a stale 
process?
