MOL boots but no menus

I recently installed YDL 2.4 and MOL on my TiPB.  When in Linux and starting
MOL, I clearly see a window with my MacOS 9 loading.  However, the mouse is
unable to pull down menus or click on desktop icons.  I've configured
/etc/molrc as described.  Any suggestions?
