iTunes can't authorize computer...

Hi... I just signed up for iTunes from OS X on mol.. I can download 
songs but when I try to play it, iTunes tries to authorize the computer 
for the downloaded song.. I get an error at this point and the iTunes 
support folks say this is usually due to a firewall... does anyone know 
if mol's firewall can be disabled? I'm guessing that there's some option 
for ip forwarding wherein this can be disabled... any help would be 
greatly appreciated.
