mol macos run very slowly (yellowdog 3.0)

Hi, I have been trying to use MOL to launch mac os 9 on a powerbook G4 12 
inch model.  This model cannot boot OS9, and one of the classic programs I 
run freeze often while in classic, so I recently installed Yellowdog Linux 
3.0 to see if MOL might help.

The first couple times I tried MOL seemed to boot quite quickly.  However, I 
later noticed that my installation of yellowdog might be corrupted (but not 
the mol part), so I reinstalled eveyrhing.  However, now startmol boots OS 9 
VERY VERY slowly.  The MOL window would stay at the small mac icon for a 
(relatively and unusually long) while, then when the bigger box appears, it 
will startup the system and load the extensions so slow as if it took a 10 
seconds break after reading each track on the disk, be it from a CD or the 
internal HD.  In fact it may be even slower booting from the internal HD.  
Once booted the speed might be alright although I have not tested it 
throughly.  Also booting OS X does not seem to suffer from this, or at least 
it was not as extreme.  The strangest thing is that it wasn't like this 
before the reinstallation and I did nothing to affect MOL in between.  Two 
log files for slow boots are appended below.  Unfortunately, I don't have 
the log file for the original faster boot.  Your suggestion and help are 
greatly appreciated.  Thanks!
