video mode/depth not supported

hi list,

i installed MoL a couple of days ago, and it's running beautifully. i'm
using it to run OS X (10.2) on my ibook.

i do have one question, though. ATM i can only use MoL with the framebuffer
on the console. in itself, this is not a problem, but i think i'd prefer to
run it inside an X window. but when i specify 'enable_xvideo: yes' in
molrc.video, i get the message "The current video mode/depth is unsupported
by the X11 video driver", and MoL switches to the console
automatically. just before the switch, i get the following output from MoL:

Video driver(s): [xvideo] [console_video]

     640* 480, depth 8,32 { 0.0 } Hz
     800* 600, depth 8,32 { 0.0 } Hz
    1024* 768, depth 8,15,32 { 0.0 } Hz
    1152* 864, depth 8,32 { 0.0 } Hz
    1280*1024, depth 8,32 { 0.0 } Hz
    1600*1200, depth 8,32 { 0.0 } Hz

my X server is running at colour depth 24, 32 is not supported, and i'd
rather not run at 8. ;-) does this mean i won't be able to run MoL inside
X, or did i overlook some configuration setting?

TIA
