mol problem. macosx partition locked. any suggestions?

Divide and conquer. It appears that you have checked the -rw and 
-boot flags issue. Now modify molrc.video to not run in full screen 
mode. I currently have a 2-day-old rsync snapshot (not sure when the 
tree was last updated), and mol will only launch in full screen mode 
about 40% of the time. The other 60% it just sits there like you say. 
I haven't figured it out yet, but in windowed mode it launches 100% 
of the time so far.

mol has always run better for me rebuilt from scratch. I would 
consider that as another option.
