desperate to install

MOL lookslike such a lifesaver!! I would love to own a mac, but can't 
afford one right now. I'm running Red Hat 9 right now, and know VERY 
LITTLE about it, particularly installing programs with terminal. I know 
that this is exactly the annoying kind of question that people don't 
reply to, but I would really appreciate some help, since this program 
looks like it will be amazing. I've tried to follow all the instructions 
to install from the source tar file, but now I'm really stuck, and 
because I have so little experience, I don't know where to go from here. 
I would love it if someone would give me some step by step instructions 
as to how to install it. (I mean right down to the basics, letter by 
letter command lines, etc.) Thank you so much!
