Errors starting MOL on MacOS X

Hi All,

I'm a Morphix developer (http://www.morphix.org), and
I and some other developers are considering a port of
Morphix to ppc. However, my G4 powerbook is currently
running MacOS 10.2.8 and it would not be feasible to
install Linux on it at the moment to run MOL for
testing and developing the Morphix port.

So, I looked deeper into the mailing lists archives
and noticed that some have actually got MOL working on
MacOS. I decided to try this myself. So I downloaded
the developers source tree tarball and compiled it.
Everything went great until trying to start it. I
first got an error message saying that I needed to run
"mknod /dev/fb0 c 29 0", which I did. I tried it
again and I now get the following error message:

bash-2.05a$ startmol --linux
Mac-on-Linux 0.9.71-pre1 [Jun 24 2004 14:06]
Copyright (C) 1997-2004 Samuel Rydh
Starting MOL session 3
Fatal error: opening /dev/mol3: No such file or
directory

After the error, it will hang and I'd have to ctlr-c
it to exit. I've tried the command in both the normal
terminal and Apple X11 terminal to no avail. Does
anyone have any idea what is causing this issue?

Thanks,
J Silverman
