compile error mol-0.9.70

Hi,

I apologize but I don't know how to execute the code 
directly from the prompt.

/bin/sh is a symlink leading to /bin/bash.

My bash is GNU bash, version 2.05.8
(1)-release-(powerpc-yellowdog-linux-gnu)

The distribution is Yellow Dog 2.3 running kernel 2.4.19-4a.

Just to check I compiled kernel 2.4.25-fwo2 and had the same 
error with both.

> - is /bin/sh symlinked to /bin/bash?
> - what is the bash version
