Hi the list,

I've subscribed at this list because I couldn't compile correctly mol
under 2.6.x kernel. I finally have found why : The compilation fails
every time simply because there were old includes in /usr/include/linux...

Now, mol [0.9.70 version] starts in ~15 seconds only, working very fine.

So simply, congratulations for this funny software : it rocks !!

A question : before to use fullscreen (by clicking inside the mol
dialog-box, in Linux), I can switch from Mac OS to Linux with CTRL-Apple
F7 / (or F8 from Linux to Mac OS)

But with "fullscreen" I must finish the mol session to return in Linux.
The difference is that vlc works more better in "fullscreen" Mac OS X
emulation. Why ? (what is the difference ? I'm not sure too have understood)

For the record :

Hardware is : alubook 15", 1,25GHz (SD), 5400 rpm hd, 764 Mo of RAM

OS : Linux 2.6.5rc2-benh (Debian sid) / Mac OS X 10.3.3

what is working ? :

- a lot of video modes
- usb mouse
- audio with OSS (music, video are OK)
- mounting cdrom ( Exile -Myst III- works correctly in full screen :-) )
- vlc works too

Applications : X11 works, OpenOffice.org, Appleworks, Desktop manager
(without OpenGL effects)

Strange : the usb modem seems to be usable (?). Not tested more.

Not tested ethernet device, nor the network with sheep, but a new
ethernet device is detected by Mac OS X...

What is *not* working :

Hardware like Bluetooth is already detected by Linux, so it doesn't work.
Other usb devices doesn't work and cause linux kernel ooops ( for
example usb-storage, usb printer)

All applications using OpenGL don't work (of course)

airport extreme is not even seen (is it possible to desactivate it in
Linux ?)

That's all for now, and again, thank you very much ;-)

With best regards,
