compiling problem

but i compiling frox source the mol not for debian-souce.
mol don't find autoconf.h is possible the problem is the path?
mi autoconf.h path is: 
/usr/src/linux-2.6.9/include/linux/autoconf.h
and in lib/modules/2.6.9 i don't have autoconf.h
i have passed the path to source with:
make KERNEL_SOURCE=/usr/src/linux
but mol don't find autoconf.h
is possible is a proble of path?
