Newbie questions

I'm looking forward to having LOM one of these days.. running Gentoo 
PPC in a 'box' on the Mac native.

I think many Mac users would choose to do it this way, especially if 
there's no need for repartitioning the hard drive.  Any status reports 
on that, I'd be interested to hear..
