Wireless LAN using MOL

This has been discussed before, but it is not just YDL that can't use
Airport Extreme,
it is linux in general. Broadcom has not released the drivers for the
AE yet, and if I
am correct, they do not plan to. It may be possible to use the Apple
drivers built in
assuming that there was a way for MOL to tell the computer that the
card was
available, but I think that MOL basically sets up a fake system for the
os to run on.
If that is the case, then it uses the linux drivers to talk to the
hardware anyway, and
we are stuck in the same situation. I would like to know the answer to
this since I
have been using a pre-802.11 card and it is slightly slow.
