MOL reports "File is too large. Failed to load mkext!" with MacOSX 10.3.7

Hi,

I'm trying to get MOL 0.9.71pre1 (according to the Gentoo ebuild I've
installed) to install MacOSX 10.3.7 (according to the CD) that came
with my new Powerbook (one of the recent ones) but I'm seeing errors
and wondered if someone could give me a hand sorting it out?

I'm trying to install MacOSX from the CD into a file based partition
(/usr/share/mol/drives/macosx.img). The output I see when I run
'startmol --osx --cdboot' is included after this message. The MOL
window itself shows the Penguin but then displays some kind of error
stack that I can't quite read because it's obscured.

I'm running a Gentoo system with a 2.6.12 kernel, which reports the
CPU as a Powerbook5,6. It seems to be the same problem as listed in
this thread on the Gentoo forums
(http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-305028.html) except that he is
using a Mac Mini CD, so I'm wondering if it's a problem with MOL and
the MacOS version?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Matt
