You can use the tun driver from the kernel source itself.

In a single line that includes an additional header file.  It's
described in <URL:http://bugs.debian.org/287267>.  Apparently, the fix
never made it into the upstream version of mol, so I feel a little bad
about this.  Whoever reads this message and can apply patches to mol,
please do.
