My own build of the -4 firmware pulled down from IBM also hangs
indefinitely, haven't yet tried building from Adrian's git tree.

That's something I was wondering myself. Fedora 10 on my end, fwiw.

The pre-release build on the fixstars site does work for me.

Would obviously like to get to the point where my locally built ones
