Chicago, Illinois -- 25 September 2002 -- Terra Soft Solutions, Inc., the
leading developer of integrated PowerPC Linux solutions is pleased to
showcase 1U Apple Xserves running Yellow Dog Linux at the IEEE Fourth
International Conference on Cluster Computing.
On the show floor Terra Soft is showcasing three dual 1GHz Xserves and a dual

Management Server with the Xserves serving as processing nodes. Black Lab
allows for the rapid creation of cluster nodes with automated netbooting,
reformatting, and installation; then subsequent cluster control through BProc
3.x and Supermon.
The Apple Xserve is a 1U rackmount server available in single and dual 1GHz
CPU configurations with 4 hot-swap bays, dual PCI slots, AGP, and CD. This
marks the first public presentation of Yellow Dog Linux running on the
Xserves. The modified kernel will be available for download from Terra Soft's
