AMULET TO SHIP JAPANESE VERSION OF YDL v5.0 FOR PS3

The Research and Development Department of AMULET, Inc (Chiyoda-ku Tokyo) 
announces the launch of Japanese Language Package of Yellow Dog Linux v5.0J 
for the Sony Computer Entertainment PLAYSTATION®3, slated to ship January 4, 
2007.

Yellow Dog Linux is a distribution specialized for PowerPC developed by Terra 
Soft Solutions (Loveland Colorado, USA), and highly regarded as the leading 
Linux platform for Apple's Power Macintosh Series in Japan.

Owen Stampflee, Lead Engineer at Terra Soft Solutions states, "For three years 
Amulet has helped Terra Soft reach Japanese speaking people with a special 
version of Yellow Dog Linux for Apple Macintosh. We are very pleased to again 
have Amulet support our mutual customers in this fashion, with v5.0 for the 
PS3."

This latest release of Yellow Dog Linux v5.0J bring offers an open-source, 
creative breakthrough with support for the PLAYSTATION and Cell 
microprocessor and incorporation of the next-generation integrated desktop 
user interface "E17".

 - Perfect compatibility with original YDL v5.0.
 - Japanese located "E17" desktop environment.
 - Default JST timezone setting.
 - Small fix for FC5 language bug.
