2.1 install problems on 8500

Your HD is SCSI, not ATA.  You can find cheap SCSI drives on ebay, or various 
business resellers.  

With my 8500, I opted to get an ATA PCI card.  You can connect up to 4 drives 
with it, and I find the ATA drives to function faster and smoother than  
SCSI (even with a fast SCSI PCI card).  

With the ATA card you can have your 20M paritition for Linux, and use the 
extra on the OS9 side for large files--I do a lot of web work and video 
editing.  

I miss my 8500.
